Overall, my stay at Candlewood Suites Chesapeake-Suffolk was quite good. The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, especially Vanessa who helped me extend my stay without any hassle. The amenities like the in-room kitchen and laundry were a great touch, but I did encounter some maintenance issues that could use attention. A couple of things in my room needed repair, which did detract from the experience a bit.

While the staff, especially Vanessa and Juanita, provided really good service and were incredibly friendly, the overall facilities left something to be desired. My room was clean and felt like home, but the issues with management and costs for amenities were frustrating. Overall, the good service got me through, but I would think twice about staying again.
